, Here’s Lee Hopp!Lee Hopp brings years of knowledge and experience working on commercials, TV shows and feature films. He started working in the film industry in 1977. His start was as a production assistant where he fell in love with camera work. In 1979 he was hired by General Camera (Panavision of NY) and worked there as a camera technician for 2 years. He became a camera assistant and was hired by Sandbank Films as Henry Sandbank’s assist cameraman for 5 years.

In 1986, Lee started Playback System, a Video Assist rental company. He ran the company for 20 years until 2006. From there, he created LH Video Services which offers video assist equipment and operators.

HD Video Assist was not in the picture until 2008 when he met Mark Pederson of Off Hollywood and Vlado Struhar of In2core. Vlado is the creator and developer of Qtake HD. Together, they brought Qtake HD to the market and it has now become the premier video assist software package in the world.

Lee’s skills include doing live visual effects on set using Qtake HD, wireless transmission (car shoots), single and multiple camera systems and 24 frame playback.

Lee has said, “Working in this industry has been the joy of my life. Creating great relationships and getting the job done is what I always strive for.
