The challenges of Streaming from Set and Social Distancing

The challenges of Streaming from Set and Social Distancing How will I be able to communicate while we are shooting? Great question! It’s pretty simple. Use what ever video chat platform you are comfortable with, Zoom, Google Meets, Skype, Blue Jeans, etc… We are also able to stream what’s being shot into the meeting!     How can I do a multi camera shoot and broadcast to my clients? Taking it to the next Level!

In the years that I have worked in the film industry I have observed many changes not only in the technical side but the creative side.   One that really stands out was when the first “Digital Editing System” came about “Avid”. They can now watch live during the shot or see playback on their Apple device. This breakthrough is amazing!  The only limitation had been the strength of the wifi signal we could get on set which would allow us to cover

They would then have to send the film to the lab and see what the shot looked like a day after the scene was shot. One day the actor Jerry Lewis was Directing and Acting in a movie and he needed to see what the scene looked like after he
